Netzke

I’m the author of Netzke – a framework made to facilitate creation of RIAs that use Ruby-on-Rails as back-end, and ExtJS as front-end (GUI). It allows developers to create reusable components (widgets), that can be easily integrated into Rails views, as well as used as a part of a desktop-like web-application. The framework provides both a consistent way of creating such widgets, and a set of pre-programmed, feature-reach, configurable (both statically and dynamically) widgets – such as GridPanel, FormPanel, BorderLayoutPanel, TabPanel, AccordionPanel, etc.

Netzke has been mentioned on the Ruby5 podcast.

In-house projects

Contract projects

Floralogic Logistics application

Floralogic is a Dutch trading company specialized on export to Eastern Europe. I created a complex desktop-like web-application (recently rewritten with Netzke) that mentors the whole logistics process: from placing an order, through arranging the transportation and automatic declarations exchange with the customs, to the billing. Because the application is used internally by Floralogic, I demo this project individually on request. The application has been online and actively used for 2 years.

Built with: Ruby-on-Rails, ExtJS, Netzke. Tests: Ruby Test::Unit.

Sauna 4 Seasons
